Creating high performing teams that don’t burn out

What is Sustainable High Performance?

Preventing burnout and maximising performance are two different things. In short, they’re the two different ends of the sustainable performance zone – the area that allows us to perform at a high level over an indefinite period of time. Understanding and operating within this zone is the key to achieving sustained high performance at an individual, team, and organisational level.

Wellbeing Dynamics and Performance

Wellbeing dynamics are the factors and conditions that affect the physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing within groups of people, and how those factors are influenced by environments, relationships and circumstances. When you have a team of people who understand their own andx their colleagues’ wellbeing dynamics, and are led by a manager who also understands and can balance those dynamics with the requirements of the tasks at hand, you have a highly functioning, resilient team. This creates a culture of high trust, respect, efficiency, and psychological safety, which translates into high performance and low risk of burnout.

How does the program work?

We guide your team through our 90 minute in-person workshop where they learn the fundamentals of high performance, stress management, and upskilling in health and wellbeing. Over the following 12 weeks, participants receive follow up exercises and templates on how to practically apply the skills they’ve learned. The process includes pre-session questionnaires, in-session exercises, and post-session follow ups to ensure the learnings are both meaningful and embedded, as well as show the impact the training has had on your staff. Throughout the 12 weeks, Kinex Health will be on hand to answer any questions and guide participants through the process.

We impact team wellbeing dynamics by upskilling staff in several key areas:

    • Practical health and wellbeing fundamentals.
    • The root causes of burnout and how to mitigate them.
    • How to manage and maximise energy.
    • Discovering individual performance patterns.
    • Identifying and mitigating stress.
    • Establishing and effectively communicating wellbeing needs.
    • Working collaboratively to promote individual and team wellbeing.
    • Creating micro-cultures that integrate to enhance
      organisational culture.

What are the outcomes?

to be healthy and well in a practical sense.
