Mental Health First Aid is a critical part of any workforce training.
As mental health in the workplace is just as important as physical health, and for that we need people who are trained to offer that support.
Almost half of your staff will experience a mental health disorder in their lives and 1 in 5 is experiencing one right now.
This makes it absolutely critical that there are people who are trained, willing and able to provide the support and guidance your staff need, when and where they need it.
Having trained mental health first aiders on your team provides you with a level of psychological safety that is hard to match and gives your people the peace of mind that they have somewhere to turn when things get tough.
How Mental Health First Aid training works
Our hybrid mental health first aid courses mean maximum engagement with minimal work time lost.
Participants will be given access to online training materials 4 weeks in advance, with the training taking approximately 6-8 hours in total, which can be completed at their own pace and in their own time.
This is followed by either a 4 hour face-to-face training session at your office, or 2 x 2.5 hour webinar sessions, which teach participants how to apply their knowledge in real-life situations.
In addition to the skills and knowledge they gain, participants will also receive a nationally recognised mental health first aid accreditation that is valid for 3 years.
This training is simple, effective, and an absolute must in the modern workplace.
